چکیده
The NF-Y gene family is a highly conserved set of transcription factors. functional factor complex made up trimer between NF-YA, NF-YB, and NF-YC proteins. While mammals typically have one for each subunit, plants often multigene families subunit which contributes to wide variety combinations functions. Soybean with an overexpression particular isoform GmNF-YC4-2 (Glyma.04g196200) in soybean cultivar Williams 82, had lower amount starch its leaves, higher protein seeds, increased broad disease resistance bacterial, viral, fungal infections the field, similar effects GmNF-YC4-1 (Glyma.06g169600). Interestingly, GmNF-YC4-2-OE (overexpression) also filled pods senesced earlier, novel trait not found GmNF-YC4-1-OE plants. No yield difference was observed compared wild-type control. Sequence alignment GmNF-YC4-2, AtNF-YC1 indicated that faster maturation may be result minor sequence differences terminal ends closely related isoforms.

Resistance in Soybean Cultivars from Maturity Groups V-VIII to Soybean Cyst and Root-knot Nematodes.
One hundred thirty-nine cultivars of soybean (Glycine max) in Maturity Groups V, VI, VII, and VIII were evaluated in a greenhouse for resistance to Heterodera glycines races 3 and 14 and Meloidogyne incognita, M. arenaria, and M. javanica. Of the cultivars tested, 37% had resistance to H. glycines race 3 alone, 12% had resistance to both races 3 and 14, and 69% exhibited a moderate or high leve...
متن کاملGenetics and Adaptation of Soybean Cyst Nematode to Broad Spectrum Soybean Resistance
The soybean cyst nematode (SCN) Heterodera glycines is a major threat to soybean production, made more challenging by the current limitations of natural resistance for managing this pathogen. The use of resistant host cultivars is effective, but, over time, results in the generation of virulent nematode populations able to robustly parasitize the resistant host. In order to understand how virul...
متن کاملTransgenic soybean overexpressing GmSAMT1 exhibits resistance to multiple‐HG types of soybean cyst nematode Heterodera glycines
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) salicylic acid methyl transferase (GmSAMT1) catalyses the conversion of salicylic acid to methyl salicylate. Prior results showed that when GmSAMT1 was overexpressed in transgenic soybean hairy roots, resistance is conferred against soybean cyst nematode (SCN), Heterodera glycines Ichinohe. In this study, we produced transgenic soybean overexpressing GmSAMT1 and...
متن کاملA Novel Soybean ERF Transcription Factor, GmERF113, Increases Resistance to Phytophthora sojae Infection in Soybean
Phytophthora root and stem rot of soybean caused by the oomycete Phytophthora sojae, is a destructive disease worldwide. Ethylene response factors (ERFs) play important roles in regulating plant biotic and abiotic stress tolerance. In this study, a new ERF gene, GmERF113, was isolated from the highly resistant soybean 'Suinong 10.' Sequence analysis suggested that the protein encoded by GmERF11...
متن کاملThe effect of resistance training on protein-D surfactant and insulin resistance index in healthy and type 2 diabetic rats
Introduction Protein-D Surfactant (SPD) is a new factor associated with glucose intolerance, insulin resistance, and type 2 diabetes. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of resistance training on surfactant protein-D in streptozotocin-nicotinamide-induced diabetic rats. Materials and Methods In this experimental study، 48 adult male Wistar rats in the weight range of 2...
